It’s that time again…time for me to post links to interesting things I found while looking around the internets.

A few weeks ago, Elloa Atkinson confessed to the world wide web that, while she loves her husband, she also has the desire to cheat on him. Needless to say, her article sparked a firestorm. The comments section is truly difficult to read because of the vitriol and venom readers spewed at her. The one voice missing in all the Sturm und Drang was her husband’s. Until now. Here’s Nige Atkinson’s response. It might surprise you.

ScreamFree’s very own Hal Edward Runkel has appeared numerous times on The Today Show. Many of those appearances have been to discuss the phenomenon known as “helicopter” parenting. Perhaps his sage advice is making a difference. Here’s an interesting article on what is now being called the “no-rescue” movement. The money quote is this: “A child who always forgets has a parent who always remembers.”
