Parenting is Hard
“I take my children everywhere, but they always find their way home.” (Robert Orben)
I actually had the misfortune of losing my daughter for about 10 minutes at DisneyWorld once, so I try not to joke too much about the idea of abandoning kids on purpose. However, every parent, when honest, fantasizes about life without their kids, at least for a brief moment or two. That’s because the truth is: parenting is just plain hard. And when I accept that truth, I feel a lot less alone and a lot more capable of facing the task at hand.
