“Men are like steel. When they lose their temper, they lose their worth.” (Chuck Norris)

No one knows how to be tough like Walker, Texas Ranger. He understands that losing your temper is never a sign of strength. It’s proof that you’ve lost control of your emotions. It’s frightening to those who love you, and it undermines your ability to lead well.
You teach far more if you can steel yourself against your temper rather than allowing it to work against what should matter most: your influence.
When you feel your temper start to get the best of you, do whatever you have to do to keep it in check. Take a deep breath. Acknowledge (at least internally) that you really want to scream at the top of your lungs. Walk away for a moment if you must. In the heat of the moment that’s easier said than done — at least for most of us mere mortals. For Chuck Norris, it’s no problem at all. That’s why Superman, the “Man of Steel”, wears Chuck Norris pajamas.
